Effluent fumes infiltrate perception
Blinded eyes with flickered reception
An incessant haze of mass decay
Abandoned is the fray
Devouring souls and convictions alike
Stripped of honour and our ancient pride
Soon lost: the foremost divination
In Original sin - a fanatic's citation!
Somnambulism reigns
Regression is now complete
Civilisation crumbles
Equal are leper and priest
Prophecies of deliverance - Logic to the mad
The dust; It feasts upon their judgment
Ambassadors of pertinence beckon to the frail
Descent into the quarters of the damned
Those condemned unto the dust
Those condemned by the dust…
And yet we call upon tomorrow
To rise beyond the dust…
The dust!
Imposters infiltrate our ranks
Obscured by the consequence of fate
An inexorable force upon the psyche
As the borders between sentience and death…
blur… fade… vanish… die!
In genocide and sorrow…
To ascend beyond the dust…
The dust!
[Solo: von Moller]
In our final hour, acolytes of death
The dust our master... master's wrath divine
[Solo: von Moller]
With dying infant in hand and laboured breath
Forgotten is the wisdom of our time…
[Solo: Iron]

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli
